21 bus services and 3 tramway services cross the Grenoble Area. One tramway service and 8 bus services serve Saint-Martin-d'Hères. In a few years (2007), a new tramway service (D) will link the Quartiers Gabriel-Péri and Croix-rouge [districts] with the Quartiers Renaudie / La Plaine, passing by Avenue Benoît-Frachon and its continuation.

Service 11: Comboire-Universités. From the Carina, Avenue Jacques-Prévert, it follows Avenue Potié, Rue [street] Henri-Wallon, Rue Massenet, Avenue Carmagnole-Liberté, Avenue of the Commune de Paris then enters the Domaine Universitaire through entrance n° 2.
Service 21: From [Verdun Prefecture] (Grenoble) to [Le Japin] Gières.
Service 23 : Park Paul-Mistral (Grenoble) / Le Prisme (Seyssins) or Grand’Place (Grenoble).
